One of our clients is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join their dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for improving communication abilities across diverse populations, including pediatric and geriatric patients. This role involves providing comprehensive speech and language evaluations, developing individualized therapy plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.
Conduct thorough assessments of speech, language, voice, and swallowing functions across pediatric and adult populations.
Develop and implement personalized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
Deliver evidence-based therapy sessions via in-person or telehealth platforms.
Collaborate with patients' families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare providers.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress within EMR/EHR systems.
Educate patients and families about communication strategies, exercises, and home programs.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate patient care.
Stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program; valid licensure or certification as required.
Experience working with children in early intervention settings as well as adult and geriatric populations.
Expertise in pediatric speech therapy, language therapy, and working with individuals with disabilities.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech and swallowing functions.
Experience conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations using standardized assessments.
Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms is highly desirable.
Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Proficiency in medical terminology, patient assessment techniques, and EMR/EHR systems.
Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach toward patient care.
