Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a collaborative, high-performing team in Orange, California.

This role sits at the intersection of commercial client relationship management and strategic risk analysis. You will manage existing commercial client accounts from end to end while helping clients understand their business risks, identify coverage gaps, and make informed insurance decisions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys analyzing complex situations, solving problems, evaluating risk, and providing strategic advice rather than simply processing administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance client accounts from start to finish.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing commercial clients.

  • Review commercial insurance policies and identify potential coverage gaps or misalignments.

  • Analyze client business risks and provide recommendations for appropriate insurance coverage.

  • Advise clients directly regarding risk exposure and insurance solutions.

  • Clearly communicate recommendations and insurance concepts through both written and verbal communication.

  • Support Producers while continuing to develop the ability to independently manage client relationships.

  • Evaluate real-world client scenarios and determine the most appropriate course of action.

  • Collaborate closely with other Account Managers and internal team members to develop effective client solutions.

  • Participate in ongoing professional training and development.

  • Continuously strengthen knowledge of commercial insurance, risk management, and coverage analysis.

Required Qualifications

Experience

  • Approximately 10+ years of professional work experience preferred.

  • Strong experience in Commercial Lines Account Management or a closely related commercial insurance role.

  • Solid understanding of commercial insurance products, policies, and coverage.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage commercial client accounts independently.

Professional Designations

Holds, or in process, a CPCU, CIC, ARM or other

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
