Warehouse Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Warehouse Manager with a strong background in electrical parts inventory and distribution to oversee daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for managing inventory accuracy, shipping and receiving activities, staff supervision, warehouse safety, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills and a proven ability to improve operational efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, shipping, inventory control, and material handling.

• Lead, train, and supervise warehouse personnel while promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.

• Monitor inventory accuracy through Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), RF scanners, and AS400.

• Develop and implement process improvements using lean management principles to increase productivity and minimize waste.

• Coordinate logistics activities and maintain effective relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers.

• Oversee the safe operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.

• Maintain organized warehouse operations that support efficient order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with electrical parts and components is required.

• Proven warehouse management or supervisory experience within distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or e-commerce environments.

• Strong understanding of inventory management, warehouse operations, and logistics processes.

• Experience using WMS platforms, AS400, RF scanners, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Knowledge of forklift operations and material handling equipment safety procedures.

• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

• Mechanical aptitude related to warehouse equipment is preferred.

• Ability to perform physical duties, including lifting and moving materials when required.

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies is highly desirable.
